I appreciate and praise Guild Wars 2 a lot, I do!
There are a lot of things they do right, but also so much more they do wrong. The complete 360 with the female counterpart of armor for example. So here we go.
Tier 3 human cultural armor (assassin)
I’d put this on my thief.
Are they going to..?
Discovered this couple during beta, I think. Love them!
So today I noticed that the tengu have new idle animations. I don’t know if this was introduced yesterday or in the Escape from LA release, but I find it rather interesting that Anet would decide to update their animations. They no longer fiddle with their bows; they stand up straight and glance around. The animation is a lot smoother, too.
Part of me hopes that this means we’ll be seeing more tengu, but at this point, I feel that’s unlikely…
Also… have you noticed that since recently, there’s a new music playing in Maguuma zones ?
It’s called “The Tengu Wall”. It’s that one : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBIWK7ddLpg
If it’s not subtle teasing about the Tengu, I don’t know what it is. Never heard that music in Maguuma until recently, and I do play a lot with the game music.
As of when GW2 was created, the Tengu shared the Charr mesh. Animations were shared between the two.
I have just looked at the animation, as well as checked the Charr Animation of unsheathed bows and they are indeed different now.
Also, the tengu seem to stand a little more erect than before! So this is very likely linking to the fact of more Tengu activity for players. Maybe not “playable”, but maybe it is!

When we started Dragon Age: Inquisition, one of our earliest goals was to bring the world to life and let you decide who you want to be in this vast and complex world. We accomplished this by using the Frostbite engine, which supports massive areas, destruction, and the most advanced next-gen technology we’ve ever seen.
Dragon Age: Inquisition is BioWare’s first next-gen game. It’s also our most ambitious game to date! Nowhere is this more visible than in the incredible size and diversity of locations, life, and hidden places you’ll discover on your journey.
Our new “Discover the Dragon Age” video highlights only some of the locations you can choose to visit during your adventure. Each area in the video has its own realistic ecosystem with predators, prey, factions, and opportunities to expand your Inquisition.
The world’s population is based on an emergent system that adjusts what you’ll encounter based on how your actions tip the balance in the area. You’ll see towns attacked by bandits, deer fleeing from wolves, giants feeding on bears, and countless other scenarios.
The artists, designers, programmers, animators, audio and VFX specialists and many others are the most talented I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. They are the people bringing the world of Dragon Age to life for you to discover. They’ve built incredible graphics systems like weather that creates naturally-formed puddles, spider webs that blow in the wind, and huge amounts of various materials that look more realistic than anything we’ve ever created in a BioWare game!
We are very proud of the work being done to create Dragon Age: Inquisition and we hope you’ll enjoy the new video. As always, we look forward to reading your comments on the BioWare forums, Facebook, Twitter, and Google+, so be sure to tell us what you think!

Some cute dialogues between Kas and Jory that I apparently missed.
These two ;u; <3
Tenth Doctor Catchphrases
I was referring to the shit talk about lesbians in general. Mainly, the people who whine, “Well she just hasn’t met the right man yet!” I should have been more specific.
I don’t mind entertaining the idea that either or both Kasmeer and Marjory are bi/pan. But their real strength is that their sexuality is secondary (or even tertiary or quaternary) to what defines them, which is exactly how it should be.
rock bottom is when youtube comments are more intelligent than your government
This is perhaps the most decent and respectful exchange I have ever seen on this topic on the Internet. Good on, both of you!
ANNIE - Official Trailer (2014)
How many times can they remake this story? Still… this looks amusing. ;-)
Finished the Scarlet Briar arc of the Living Story tonight. What a blast! I’ve really enjoyed the last two updates a lot. Maybe it was because of the sweeping changes to a very familiar place (Lion’s Arch) and the way it made me feel like I was actually defending the city and its citizens. Maybe it was that fantastic fight on the airship and the good guys finally getting some closure. Maybe it was that kiss! Maybe it was all this and more!
I’m also very intrigued about what we seem to have awakened in the process though, and really looking forward to the next story! Great job, ANet!
